The original song “Zajdi, Zajdi Jasno Sonce” was written and composed by the legendary Macedonian singer-songwriter Aleksandar Sarievski. The soundtrack, composed by Johan Sonderqvist and Patrik Andren, includes a version of the Macedonian folk song “Zajdi, Zajdi Jasno Sonce” titled “Dawn of a New Time” and accompanies “The Runner” chapter of the game that takes place during the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915.
This newest installment in the Battlefield series was received well by critics and gamers, with many of them commenting on the hauntingly beautiful music that accompanies the various campaigns in the game.
